State of the Union

State of the Union (also known as State of the Nation) is a health, restoration, and community-focused program dedicated to helping listeners navigate real-life pressures and move from fragmentation toward total wholeness. Airing Sunday mornings on Magic 102.7 FM in Bermuda, each broadcast convenes honest conversations, clinical insights, and practical tools designed to help Bermudians strengthen their physical health, repair relationships, and restore dignity in a complex world.

Dr. Stanley James is an esteemed Bermudian physician, pastor, author, and CEO/Medical Director of Premier Health & Wellness Center. He holds a Doctor of Medicine from Loma Linda University and a Master’s degree in Religion from Andrews University, alongside advanced studies in lifestyle medicine and systemic healthcare. Rooted in faith, clinical excellence, and compassionate service, he has dedicated his career to addressing chronic disease burdens, mental burnout, and community wellbeing across Bermuda.

Dr. James transitioned into radio out of a deep conviction that true healing cannot be confined to the four walls of a clinic. Recognizing that systemic stress, unaddressed grief, and invisible burdens were impacting families across the island, he brought his voice to Magic 102.7 FM to provide an accessible public forum where listeners can feel safe enough to engage the truth about their health, mind, and spirit.

His mission as a host is to inform, uplift, and restore listeners to themselves—equipping individuals and families to live with clarity, resilience, and hope using biblical principles and sound clinical logic as a guiding light.
